Email Outage Update

At approximately 3:30 AM on 1/12/2022, MaxxSouth Broadband began receiving reports of an issue affecting its customer’s ability to access their email services.

After investigating these reports, it was discovered that the service provider that manages MaxxSouth Broadband’s email domain was the victim of a ransomware attack. The email service provider has reported that customer data has not been compromised.

They are working diligently with security experts and federal authorities to restore access to email services as quickly as possible.
